"Man's mind is his basic means of survival," an individual reasoning faculty. Attempts to bypass this fact are doomed. Man, having a particular nature as does all of existence, is bound and at the same time free to create whole new worlds by recombining the raw material that nature provides without end.

Principlex said...: For information on inflation google the horrendous inflation in Zimbabwe. For historic and economic information, two titles are "What You Should Know About Inflation" by Henry Hazlitt and "Fiat Money Inflation in France" by Andrew Dickson White. Both will give you the picture. There are many other examples.

I now am beginning to think that Obama is likely used by forces behind the throne - I'm thinking of Soros, a primary benefactor. A galloping inflation will have one of his favorite things to do, selling short on the dollar, profitable. He's done it before.

And what would a hyper-inflation do to the Democrats? Carter's bout with inflation ('76-'80) cut him to one term and put the Democrats in the dog house for awhile. This kind of extreme inflation may obliterate them forever.; March 7, 2009 at 8:45 PM
